What if you don't know your birth time?
You can still get a full Personal report without your birth time. Your rising sign and houses need the time, so the report leaves them out and says so. Everything else comes from where the planets were on the day you were born.
What the time changes
The date alone tells us the signs of your Sun, Moon and planets, unless one of them changed sign that day. The Moon does that every two or three days, the Sun once a month.
The time tells us your rising sign, your houses and whether you were born by day or by night.
On 4 May 1929 in Brussels, the day Audrey Hepburn was born, Aquarius was rising from 01:54 to 03:04. Her birth record says 03:00, just four minutes before Pisces began to rise. A little later, and her rising sign and every one of her houses would have been different.
Move the slider through today to see it for yourself. The rising sign turns all the way round in a day, and the houses turn with it. The Moon moves a little, and the other planets hardly move at all.
Audrey Hepburn's birth time comes from her public birth record (Astro-Databank, Rodden AA). Stars Decoded has no connection to her family or estate.
Tell us what you have
The exact time, a part of the day, or nothing. The report only uses what your answer can tell us.
I know it

3 possible: Pisces, Aries, Taurus · flips at 07:12, 08:26
Your rising sign could be one of three, so the report leaves it out. Your Moon is in Aquarius either way.
I don't know
We write the report from your birth date.
Moon 24.58° Aquarius to 7.45° Pisces
There's no rising sign. Your Moon is somewhere in the range above.
Where to find your birth time
- Your full birth certificate. In many countries it shows the time. In England and Wales it usually doesn't, unless you're a twin.
- Hospital records from the birth, if the hospital still has them.
- Someone who was there, like a parent or an older relative. "Just after lunch" is enough to pick a part of the day.
- Family papers, like a baby book, a birth announcement or a baptism record.
If you find it later
You can add it to your report once for free. Stars Decoded then adds your rising sign and houses and marks every change, so you can compare. Changing it a second time uses a credit.
